Happy belated Thanksgiving!
This was the menu at our house:
Herb-rolled goat cheese
Green beans almandine
Asparagus in vinaigrette
Our guests brought ile flottante and pecan pie.
We ended up with a larger turkey than what we ordered, so you will notice a certain theme with the menu this week:
We joined a winter CSA – Belle Meade Farm. Once a month they deliver a few veggies and some meat. This month’s delivery had some veal, which went into our stew last night.
Sunday October 23rd: pork dumplings with sauteed cabbage leaves
Monday October 24th: black bean tacos
Tuesday October 25th: roasted pumpkin risotto
Wednesday October 26th: pizza
Thursday October 27th: broccoli rabe raviolis
Sunday November 6th: pumpkin ravioli
Monday November 7th: lamb, roasted sweet potato, sauteed kale
Tuesday November 8th: swiss chard quiche
Wednesday November 9th: pasta in marinara sauce
